Partnered with Wyclef Jean, Mecca aka Grimo rocked S.O.B’s last night, Monday May 7, 2007, as he made his album debut, "Kreyol Konneksyon".  Recently launched by Wyclef Jean, Sak Pasé Music Label proudly introduced Mecca to the New York audience.  Besides his outstanding performance, it was Mecca’s message that caught our attention.

Listening to Mecca talking about how Wyclef made it cool to be Haitian, focusing on Haitians’ contribution to Black struggles in the world, and last but not least, his hope for Haiti is tremendously inspiring to young Haitian artists who are coming out. With Mecca’s charisma and Wyclef by his side, the Hip Hop Creole Movement will definitely be successful.  "50 Cent watch out, Mecca is coming to the bloc".
