I don't know if it's harder to recommend friends dating other Friends Friend, however the storyline of the movie would be hard not to recommend it.  On the other hand, the movie seemed to be kind and have some real friendship quality.  Well, in this case, the choice is easy.  Yon Sel Nwit is fascinating, complicated and moving in unanticipated ways.

At the simplest level, it's the story about six friends that met by faith, love tighten them up together but drama brought down to an extinct where one of them loses everything he work for.  The story is not only a story about sexual encounters or what can happen; it is also a love story full of drama, love, passion, suspense's, adventure and mystery.

The film tried to create any suspense about the bachelor Richard who met a beautiful young lady and with the pressure of intimacy; he entered into sexual interaction with her, which led him to a long deep guilt and heartfelt sorrow as a result of a one night stand.  Through love and friendship, Richard was able to gather his thoughts at the end to make sense out of his one night fling.

There were other scenes in the movie that confuses me in terms of the three girlfriends where the two of them shared the same boyfriend which did not in the movie bring some type of  conflict or uncomfortably amongst the friends.  It seemed the girls were one big family who engaged in going to parties, eating at restaurant with the guys.  I don't know about you but that puzzled me a little bit.

For me, the film made me wonder about what friends really mean to them, and how and what they understand?   And it made me a little unsatisfied because most of the scenes weren't fully detailed in terms of what happened and what was really the outcome of those six friends which leaves the audience in my opinion with many questions at the end.

Yon Sel Nwit doesn't demand anything from us, it earns an A for effort in the Haitian movie industry, and that's what most would say in its audience.
